    I agree, the A220 has commercial advantages over the E190 & particularly so when bums on seat matter. But they are more expensive to acquire, running costs are slightly higher too. Lord knows how many maintenance shortcuts were taken by QAN during the reign of the Irish hobbit. And what about the wait for delivery?
    Remember, the E190 fleet are there to replace the Fokkers which will surely reach their use by date over the next decade.
    Also, I have heard the FIFO boys like the E190 layout - two seats either side & not the row of three as in the A220.

    Personally, I don’t think QAN has given up on bringing AQZ under its wing. Effectively, AQZ are their plane provider in times of crisis and yes, they do own 20%.

    And we have the Asian marketplace right at our doorstop.
    what a shame the takeover deal was kyboshed - at the time I loosely recollect we would exchange 1AQZ for approx 2/3ds of a QAN. Our lowly today SP of $2.70 would be worth $6.30 ish
