If you think about when it was around $7.20 last which wasn't long ago, we had 3 major developments on SP.
1) Trump election and fears of China economic slowdown hence lower consumption
2) improved growth guidance from company
3) new dividend policy

I think the impact of #1 is still far bigger than anything else but seems to be cooling-off now. I think market overreacted on this point.
True impact of #2 and 3 are yet to be seen. Today's steady increase indicates that a big player has been buying up. I think we will see these type of moves more often until next big announcement.

personally I don't think this increase will take us to 7.2 before Xmas. But we may get there by Feb assuming there are no major geopolitical issues happening around China.

after Feb is really up to the yearly results and the announcement around utilisation of the cash pile with new investment etc. If company makes a financially wise decision and convinces investors that this will refuel growth I think we will get closer to $10 by then. The other thing that will give investors more peace of mind would be diversifying away from China.
By then Trump will take charge and potentially start giving some signals about the China relationship.

let's see where we will land but I am excited for the potential growth.
