New York-based independent analysts have confirmed that FYI had already produced 99.99% HPA during the first continuous test run in Phase 1 of its pilot operation.
In the near future, FYI wants to have other HPA material tested by a second, optimized phase of pilot production from the same lab.
FYI expects that the minor changes to the pilot plant in Phase 2 of the trials could potentially result in HPA with more than 99.99% Al2O3.
Phase 2 results will be sent to New York next week.
