With regards to the question on "feedstock", I seem to recall reading that they ran recovery and purity testing on pilot runs using blended materials; part from FYI source and from Alcoa.
When I read that I wondered whether Alcoa was augmenting/spiking with control/known test impurities to assist in process development or actually blending ores from different deposits. I'm not familiar at all with Alcoa Australia operations. Are such details of the feedstock available?
