when you put it like that, it sounds like a nice corporate strategy!

its basically been a free look at the tech for them. whatever original IP we had before "joint development" (the extended dataroom / knowledge giveaway) is well known now and nothing hard for a few good patent lawyers to circumvent.

meanwhile, we are way behind the others on grants and project development. no financing and no plan. i wonder if this did ever get up and running, if we would have to pay any royalty for joint use of certain IP? wouldnt that be amusing.

its like that scene in there will be blood with the son telling his father what an old fool for giving the farm away to the oil guys
