This is from EQRs linked in a couple of days ago discussing the potential for "value adding" to their tungsten output. I am sure anything that is relevant to EQR is relevant to G6M and its future endeavours to add value downstream before going to market with their tungsten.

EQR has a strong commitment to research and development in the use of high-tech #oresorting and #exploration techniques. But the R&D effort doesn't stop there. There is a wider market for #tungsten products out there beyond our high-quality concentrate. To that end, with our friends and partners at CRONIMET, using their worldwide networks, EQR has been investigating wider applications and potential markets for Mt Carbine's finest. Through Cronimet, we have tested production of #FerroTungsten, a key alloy for the #steel industry. Various concentrate samples from last month's production were tested for use in making Ferro-Tungsten... with very satisfactory results, confirming EQR can meet commercially acceptable specification. It's early days, but well worth the investigation for when we move to openpit and underground development and production as laid out in last year's BFS.Approximately ¼ of global W use is in the form of Ferro-Tungsten and thus is an important product segment for EQR to keep in our sights. Meanwhile, we will keep shareholders informed of any progress. Shown in picture is Ferro-Tungsten with a 75% W content.
