I thought his presentation was great . I had a chuckle at the start , was that an oblique reference to bill yen ? I don’t think the reference to an elephant was that bad albeit you need to know the story to understand the metaphor .

For mine his enthusiasm comes through and that counts for a lot . Would rather be punting an enthusiastic person who has his own money on the line then some corporate exploration manager who really doesn’t give a hoot ( ie has no real skin in the game - as much as I find him an annoying ass and he became a paranoid Covid lunatic, which maybe not surprising given his asymmetric views on risk , Nassim Talebs book on skin in the game is a great read for investors ) , and skin in the game reflects in Jps enthusiasm levels , if you don’t know what I am referring to check out the monotone that went down before Jp , clearly a DEI hire , who was going through the motions .
