Of course they would want to capitalise on the leak. That's in their business. Reporting on truthful whispers is one reason why AFR has a large enough follower that could impact the market. Like I said, if they didn't have an ounce of credibility this would be non event. That's why the editors would have verified the source, but with whom? Galan is known to be leaky though. Although it was kept hush hush for over 3 weeks which is not bad.
