You seem to have missed this part:

If you think people venting frustration by making all sorts of bold claims and insults about the company’s actions/intentions/etc via guesswork is ok, then that is your opinion.
I simply posted my opinion on that and supported it by stating what was actually said in the announcement and examining what that does/doesn’t tell us, imo.

Ps. Anyone can guess anything about what may happen, and something dodgy may indeed be in play; however, it is the discussion and analysis of supporting evidence that should actually be of interest to members here…. I stand by my position that calling for pitchforks etc is absurd when so few facts are actually available.
That was the point of my post, and it appears that many could also see and appreciate that.

I’m all ears if you can support some other view.
