The selling price is calculated based on the recent disclosures.
The operating cost per unit is estimated based on last year annual report:
Total operating cost 27.5m Total spodumene produced 64k tons
which makes the per ton operating cost around AUD430.
I would however put a bit of qualification on the numbers. 1. The selling of spodumene is not a long-term strategy as long as the Jiangsu plant is operating properly; 2. The high operating cost last year could be due to the start-up phases. Unfortunately GXY has so far grown a habit of not disclosing any information on unit cost, leaving us all in the guessing game. Just hoping that the financials this HY would not be as bad in terms of cost.
