re: Ann: Galaxy Sells First Commercial Shipme...
It looks like GXY has a credibility problem because the SP dropprd on this ann which , for those who know the company, is good news. The ann., however should have included tonnage as per previous shipment announcement so that the $/ton is known.
Like the timing of the L1 acquisition and the ann of the first sale of Li-Carbonate, the company again has put the cart before the horse. Spodumene excess to the plant's requirements should have been sold last year rather than stockpiling it in China. GXY seems to have unfortunate poor planning which, when good news is announced, the market reacts negatively.
There's 6 months plant feed stockpiled in China and it would not surprise me that another spodumene shipment will be sold within the next 3 months.
All this of course is good news but the company has not adequately explained to the market that Mt Catlin's current production capacity is adequate to feed the Li-carbonate plant to its 17K ton production capacity making the Chinese stockpile not neccessary.
The company needs to keep the market fully informed and the sale price per ton FOB of this shipment would be a good start. Similarily, an upgrade cost/ton estimate on the li-carbonate plant would also help so that shareholders have an idea of li-carbonate profit margin. After all, we own the company!
Once fundamentals for established for the company this SP volitility should abate and we should see the SP advance well past a $1.
Either the company does not still know what it's costs are (and it should) or that it does and does not want to tell the market (which it should).
With kind regards Moorookamick
