It's funny how someone at GXY decided to split the quantity and amount info into two statements...maybe to make both announcements look good.
Regarding cost, it is equally frustrating that none of the reports so far has disclosed the per unit operating cost at Mt Cattlin. Based on last year report, I roughly calculated a unit operating cost of something over AUD400/t but surely some management information would be more helpful.
Last observation is on how SP reacted to the news yesterday. The SP went up and held for about an hour with quite a bit of volume and the dumping really came after 2pm. I wonder if there was some sort of strategy change by one of the market makers...A bit of bad feeling for today...
