re: Ann: OEL: Galoc Phase II Drilling Update ... That's a good sign Strat & IMO drilling should b over by this time nxt month.

4th June spud, 115 days scheduled as per their releases. No delays esp. with the Patriot doing the job (notic'd that typhoon Utor passed by onwards towards mainland China).

Should b std ops procedure with these 2 wells, ie

1) drill the 2km horiz section,
2) run 5" pre-drilled liner & then
3) run the production tubing,
4) clean out & flow the oil
5) Last bit will b to set up the subsea Xmas trees & hookup the umblical (which could b the slow part) to go to full scale commercial production.

G3 & G4 did apprx 5400 bopd & 6400 bopd on over a half+ inch choke, back in 2008 & the avg flowrates at 95% effic was 13000 bopd on a 100% basis.

POO looks good, so the sooner they bring this field into production, the quicker they can cash in frm the oil sales.

All they need at G5 & G6 is to maintain trajectory whilst steering within the reservoir section for that 2km section & set the liner straightaway. That way the open hole is protected frm any insitu stresses (or wellbore breakouts).

This should be allright, 4 weeks to flowrates by my estimates.
