@JungleJim1 Based on those quotes, we had better start thinking now about which West African gold acquisitions FFX may have in mind just in case we never see a dividend because they immediately start empire building with the cash generated. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if that’s the strategy - complainers here will be swiftly reminded of the LLL distribution they were given and told to sit back down. It usually pays to have a nice holding in the acquisition target too, and maybe we should start shortlisting them.
Personally not unhappy with growing the gold footprint (inflation is not coming to an end anytime soon, and gold is not going to go out of fashion with countries like China and Russia hoarding like there’s no tomorrow) but I would like to see us walk in Mali before we try to run elsewhere.
