Yep, unlikely, but one should not discount anything these days.
There are quite a few cashed up IO miners post mining boom who are looking to spread their risk profile and diversify into other/base metals. Mount Gibson (MGX) is one that springs to mind - they have almost $450k in cash atm, with probably $150k of it set aside for current or planned mine developments. That leaves $300k to spend on potential acquisitions.....
