Hi H the announcement basically says forget about the burried hills prospects for now and concentrate on the real prize. Would have been nice to have found oil in Bellatrix but it was always going to be a plug in to SNE anyway which has now grown and moved further north andwill also add to our resources....
There may be oil down dip in Bellatrix but I doubt they will be looking anytime soon, the gas may be used to inject into SNE in the future...
Great see another appraisal well go into the eastern extent of SNE and it seems they don't need to test these wells as they have enough data from SNE 2 and 3 to know how they will flow, so another quick and relatively inexpensive well..
Be very happy if they stick to appraisal and then development wells with SNE from now on and forget explorarion drilling for a while its always high risk..just glad it was a two for one well...
