Mate I got talked out of Afterpay when they had JUST listed and was cheap as hell. They barely had a single customer. I saw the potential along with a few beleivers in some lonely early threads on here... Some 'smart' sounding person came along and convinved probably not just me that Afterpay's business model simply could not work and the more they scale the sooner the end would come...
I got convinced and pulled my money when a 20% profit came..
Out of avoidance of self punishment I will not check what those shares would be worth now but 20 to 30 bags would not be a stretch...
There are some times when that lone guy is the only one who sees sense, and times they are simply wrong and listening to them will cost you a lot of money.
That's not a comment on TMT or this situation, just one of those stories that teaches you a lesson you don't forget.
