Sounds easy to just chuck a generator onsite and then twist a few wires together on the 33KV CCT and then just turn on the switch.....
This is a pick of a 50MW Combined Cycle Gas fired turbine plant.
The building on the left where the two bright lights are shining is the Turbine Hall. The structure in front of you is the Exhaust Gas to Steam plant which provides the MD pressure stem to drive the second stage of the Combined Cycle Plant. This combined with Gas Separator Plant plus water cooling plant takes up quit a bit of space, and not a five minute job to build. Just the plinth for the turbine & generator beds would take around 8 months to build.
It is a very specialist area to construct and our position would best be to invest in the power plant and supply gas from the Separator plant.
