With what they (Government) are looking is that the generation will be 11KV Gas Turbine gender starting with 50MW and then transformed to 330KV to supply SAPP.
For the mine I would like to see possibly another 50MW or smaller and transformed to 33KV to feed the mine and help stabilise the local supply.
If you had a big enough capacity it could with another 2-3units supply the mine without the need to run the diesel generators. That would save the mine a huge amount of money.
