Typically gas producers pay much of the pipeline infrastructure to market/refiners or in JV with industrial gas distributors.   Av cost of US gas pipeline construction in 2015-16 around $7.65 million/mile ($4.75 million/km). Doubt that Zimbabwe costs would be lower than this and materials have virtually doubled over the past 9 years.   How does that relate to IVZ ...   I held CTP for almost 15 years on the basis of many finds of O & G that mostly were uneconomic in scale or relied upon expensive infrastructure that compromised financial viability - not always but enough times.  I do hope that IVZ can maximise its discoveries but have serious concerns on bringing the potential to production.  Oil you can store in tanks & road tankers whereas gas requires more complicated infrastructure to maximise the resource.  Just saying IVZ still has a lot of project workings to do before the party can get serious.
I did hold IVZ earlier this year and now just monitoring the situation.
