It's been a journey.

Having previously targeted END OF MARCH as their completion date for delivering their Stage 1 Goal - proving a scalable industrial process for producing battery grade lithium carbonate, AGY is now very close to announcing a successful process.

We had two hold-ups that prevented AGY reaching their March target.

1. The processing plant took longer than expected to build and commission. AGY finally came clean and announced around Easter this year, that the plant was completed and process trials had commenced developing a scalable industrial process customised to the Rincon Salar brine (as distinct from a lab scale process). The key chemical challenge was cost effectively eliminating magnesium and sulphates. Critics claimed that this wasn't feasible. 18 days ago, AGY released an announcement stating that they overcome this problem and had successfully finalised the process to eliminate both deleterious elements and also successfully produced high industrial-grade Lithium.

2. However, at the same time they advised that the processing plant was inhibited from going the last 10 yards due to waiting for final certification of the industrial natural gas supply. Without mains gas, the process equipment temperatures to raise the chemical reactions to the required activity levels couldn't be achieved. We were a bee's member short of achieving battery grade. Having half processed around 2 tonnes of feed stock, this material has been sitting in vats waiting for the gas to be turned on.

The gas is on - and we suspect was turned on last Friday Argentinian time.

It's therefore reasonable to anticipate that ANY DAY NOW, AGY will make the Game Changing Announcement...

...successful proof of process and the commencement of industrial scale production of BG Lithium.

When we receive this announcement, AGY's journey as a resource company will be split into two halfs.

First Half - explorer and resource company developer
Second Half - Lithium Brine Producer

We are days away from becoming the first Lithium Brine start-up to successfully get product to market - IN YEARS.

The champagne is on ice.
But, haven't popped the cork yet.
