I love buying assets that are universally hated due to previous mismanagement of assets.
In my 20 years trading, they have been my biggest profit generators.
I've been often early and significantly underwater many times, this time is no exception.

As Charlie Unger said " In the short term the market is a voting machine but in the long term it's a weighing machine".

The large array of assets GCY hold along with the improved management team should hold GCY in good stead during the next gold bull run which in IMHO is imminent.

The value destruction phase is over, SL is showing it's time for the rebuild. I'm super impressed by SL's methodical approach to attacking this job.
A highly competent person with a fresh pair of eye's can completely turn the fortunes of any business around.

An improved mineral resource estimate along with the current increase in gold price could actually result in a JV project with a smaller asset hungry player like DGO. They have a tennement package close to Glenburgh and already have interests in DEG and DCN.




Five good advanced targets with none requiring large capex to mine.
