GCR has only three directors, all Chinese, two of them non-resident. Even if the Chinese agree to appoint an Australian resident NED, GCR has been suspended for so long that it will have to, for all intents and purposes, prepare the equivalent of a full prospectus to achieve re-listing. The Chinese are in no hurry to change the status quo, drip feeding to keep GCR out of administration but meanwhile making no progress on moving the company forward.
