@subumbra, I guess it depends how you interpreted any of GDM's previous commentary where they used of the words "commerically viable"...
Commercial viability probably has a few different flavours. Two that come to mind are...
- If you are making a profit from your day to day business operations and you are also able to meet your commitments to your business creditors.
- If you have sufficient funds to sustain your business during a period where the business is not turning a profit.
With recommissioning progressing I'd say that GDM are starting to enter category (2) by improving the potential to generate revenue at some stage.
Category (1) is something GDM might aspire to some day (in the unknowable future) if they manage to progressively & successfully execute their points 2 - 6 that they mentioned in their Mar'25 quarterly report (refer above extract).
As far as ADG goes (as a zero cash payments to GDM entity during the plant recommissioning phase), they're still yet to demonstrate any mine operations viability to the Market in the context of viability category 2 (i.e. sufficient funds to sustain business operations during a non-profit period) & is probably a contributing reason why ADG's SP is still at $0.004 (in the context of the 1.12 billion un-exercised options that are waiting to flood into ADG's current 2.07 billion SOI pond).
We'll see how it goes. Only time will tell.
