Interesting read.
As I've said before on this thread, I think there is a path towards zero 2050 around the world in which the oil and gas sector (as a whole) continues to be highly profitable. I think too many investors, seeing the rise of ESG and the difficulty of financing carbon-intensive projects, have come to the simple (but I think, incorrect) conclusion that the sector is on its last legs.
