I am hooing that is the case. Ive seen a few now that seem to get caught up in the excitement of a deal offer and agree exclusive rights, only for the tech to be poked and prodded for 3 years then dropped. It almost seems like non exclusive would actually make them pull their fingers out and license something instead of just cintinually looking. Genentech, how long has that been now and they're still looking. And when they find something there is no bidding war cos its exclusive. I think that was an exclusxive deal. If others were working on same info in parallel all of a sudden we have a horse race or auction.
I guess giving exclusive access boils down to how much confidence you have in your product and also how flexible it is?? Certainly if anyone was given exclusive access to fpp library that would be a disaster.
