At least it wasn't a straight no and the company gets some coin with the extension but it's still in line with past deals - Roche extended the first time around then changed it up a bit the following year and passed it to Genentech - that deal passed back but they later came back for the current one although in a different space. Janssen extended their deal and then expanded it 6 months later. Pfizer not sure if they actually extended it but it hit an undisclosed milestone along the path - not sure if that translates as a extension ?
