Auckland Airport named best airport in Australia Pacific for 5th year in a
row

SKYTRAX World Airport Awards provide global recognition for Auckland Airport

- Best Airport in Australia Pacific for 5th year in a row
- Best Airport Staff Service for Australia Pacific for 2nd year running

- Second globally in Best Airport between 10 and 20 million passengers

At the 2013 SKYTRAX World Airport Awards held overnight at the passenger
Terminal EXPO in Geneva, Auckland Airport was named the Best Airport in the
Australia Pacific region for the fifth successive year and was also awarded
Best Staff Service for the Australia Pacific region for the second year
running.
As well as this, Auckland Airport came second globally in the Best Airports
by "size of Airport" for airports with 10 to 20 million passengers per year
and was also named 12th best Airport in the World.
Adrian Littlewood, Auckland Airport Chief Executive, was delighted with the
news.  "At Auckland Airport we are totally focused on making each passenger
journey better and are incredibly proud that this has again been recognised
on the global stage.  To be named for the fifth year in a row as the best
airport in Australia Pacific at the SKYTRAX World Airport Awards is very
rewarding and reflects the commitment we have to listening to, understanding
and meeting our customer's needs."

Australia Pacific as this highlights the collective effort of our Airport
