shareholding in Virgin Australia. There has been recent market commentary
that Air New Zealand's shareholding had been diluted through the recent issue
of shares by Virgin Australia to SkyWest and Singapore Airlines. However,
Air New Zealand confirms that it maintained its shareholding at the approved
level of 19.99 percent through transactions executed simultaneously with the
issue of new shares by Virgin Australia.
