Auckland Council Bond (AKC010) Maturity

Auckland Council's bond (AKC010) will mature on the scheduled maturity date
of Monday 24 March 2014, with the principal repayment and final interest
payment being made on this day.

The Principal Amount repayment will occur in accordance with written
instructions of the Holders appearing in the Register held by Computershare
on the record date.

The last day of trading in AKC010 bonds will be Tuesday 11 March 2014. A
trading halt will be implemented at close of business to remain in place
until the maturity date.
