SPEIRS SETTLEMENT UNCONDITIONAL
Allied Farmers Limited (ALF) announced on 20 December 2013 that it has
entered into a conditional agreement to settle a $2 million obligation to
Speirs Group Limited relating to a 2008 put and call option contract with
Speirs.
Settlement of the agreement is conditional on ALF obtaining a waiver from NZX
Regulation, and Speirs obtaining shareholder approval by way of a Pre-break
Announcement or shareholder meeting (if required) and also obtaining any
requisite NZX Regulation waivers.
ALF advises that all of these conditions have been satisfied and therefore
settlement will occur on or before 31 January 2014. ALF will provide a
further announcement once settlement is completed.
