Subject - ASD distribution for Q1 2015
The Smartshares Australian Dividend Index Trust (ASD) was launched in
December 2014, and invests in 50 high dividend yielding Australian shares.
The ASD Trust pays quarterly distributions based on income received during
that quarter from the 50 underlying investments. To 13 March, only 5 of the
underlying investments (JBH, SYD, TCL, JHX and ANN) have paid a dividend
during this period. As this equates to a distribution of less than $.005 per
ASD unit, the ASD Trust will not pay a quarterly distribution for 31 March
2015. Instead, this will be accrued and distributed at the end of the June
2015 quarter. All dividends that are received by the Trust following this
announcement will also be included in the distribution for Q2 2015.
