Methodology

The Smartshares Australian Dividend Index Trust (ASD) was launched in
December 2014, and aims to match the performance of the S&P/ASX Dividend
Opportunities Index.

Please find attached the announcement made by S&P Dow Jones regarding the
changes to be made to the S&P/ASX Dividend Opportunities Index Methodology
effective after the close of business July 31, 2015.
