NOTICE OF ENTRY INTO ARRANGEMENTS WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE
WITH THE ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUND MANAGERS DIRECTIVE (2011/61/EU)
("AIFMD")

The Bankers Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce that
with effect from 22 July 2014 the Company has entered into the arrangements
necessary to ensure compliance with the AIFMD.

Following a review of the Company's arrangements, the Company's Board of
Directors ("the Board") has approved the appointment of Henderson Investment
Funds Ltd ("HIFL") as the Company's alternative investment fund manager (the
"AIFM") on the terms of and subject to the conditions of a new investment
management agreement between the Company and HIFL. The Company's existing
investment management agreement between the Company and Henderson Global
Investors Limited ("HGIL"), which is not authorised as an AIFM, has been
terminated. The arrangements in respect of the management fee remain
unchanged.

The Board has also appointed BNP Securities Services (the "Depositary") to
act as the Company's depositary (as required by the AIFMD) on the terms and
subject to the conditions of a depositary agreement between the Company, HIFL
and the Depositary.

Henderson Secretarial Services Ltd will continue to act as the Corporate
Secretary to the Company.
