THE BANKERS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (the "Company")

CHANGE TO MANAGEMENT FEE ARRANGEMENTS

As detailed in the Chairman's Statement in the 2012 Annual Report, the Board
has reviewed the Company's management fee arrangements. Accordingly, from 1
November 2013 the management fee with effect from that date will increase
from 0.40% to 0.45% per annum of the average value of net assets on the last
day of October in each of the two preceding years.
