Publication of Prospectus and Circular

Following the Company's announcement on 1 February 2016 regarding Bankers
being offered as an as an alternative roll-over option for Henderson Global
Trust plc ("HGL") shareholders in the context of HGL being liquidated via a
Section 110 liquidation (the "Transaction"), the Company today announces that
the prospectus of the Company dated 23 March 2016 (the "Prospectus") relating
to the Transaction has today been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority
and has been published. The Company has also sent a circular to its
Shareholders today in relation to the Transaction (the "Circular").

Copies of the Prospectus and the Circular will be available for inspection
during normal business hours on any weekday (public holidays excepted) at the
registered office of the Company 201 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3AE and by
requesting a hard copy through the Corporate Secretary, Henderson Secretarial
Services Limited, 201 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3AE. Copies will also be
available on the Company's website www.bankersinvestmenttrust.com and will
shortly be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism which can be accessed
at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.

Bankers shares will be issued at a 1% premium to the prevailing net asset
value under the scheme and in all events the transaction will not be net
asset value dilutive for Bankers shareholders.

A further announcement will be made in due course regarding HGL shareholders
elections for Bankers shares and the prevailing ratio.

subject to change and, in the event of such change, the revised times and/or
dates will be notified to Shareholders by an announcement through a
Regulatory Information Service. All references to times in this announcement
are to London time.
