GENERAL: CDI: CDI RELEASES NEW SUBDIVISION AT ROLLESTON FOR SALE
NZX-listed property developer CDL Investments New Zealand Limited (NZX:CDI)
is pleased to announce the release of its newest development in Rolleston
"Stonebrook".
The new development, offered for sale by CDI's 100% subsidiary CDL Land New
Zealand Limited, follows on from its successful development of the Millgate
subdivision in Rolleston which has been sold out.
CDI Managing Director Mr. B K Chiu was pleased that the company was able to
meet demand by offering further sections for sale in Canterbury.
"Rolleston has proved popular for Canterbury residents who are looking for
high quality, stable subdivisions. We have been encouraged by the uptake at
Millgate and we anticipate similar demand patterns at Stonebrook", he said.
Mr. Chiu also noted that Stonebrook was a significant investment for CDL Land
and was an extension of the company's commitment to the Canterbury region.
"Stonebrook complements our existing and future projects in Canterbury
including our work on the Prestons subdivision in Christchurch which will
generate over 800 sections over the next few years", he said.
Stonebrook is a 42 hectare master planned residential development with
approximately 400 freehold sections and a range of section sizes from
standard residential sections (600m2-900m2+), medium density sections
(400m2-450m2) and Comprehensive Residential Development Lots for Terraced/
Attached Housing Development located along a landscaped Linear Park. The
Linear Park will include a running water feature, pedestrian pathways and
bridges.
CDL Land General Manager Projects Jason Adams noted that Stonebrook has been
designed to provide a natural vibrancy and energy around a Neighbourhood
Centre.
"We strongly believe in creating communities and the Neighbourhood, Centre is
tailor-made for a pre-school and caf? which we believe is what our residents
are looking for", he said.
Mr. Adams also said that none of CDL Land's portfolio has been affected by
liquefaction or lateral spreading as a result of the Canterbury Earthquakes.
Stonebook is being marketed exclusively by Kennard Real Estate Limited, a
licenced real estate agency.
