Public opening position disclosure / dealing disclosure by a person with
interests in relevant securities representing 1% or more - Rule 8.3 of the
Takeover Code ("the Code")
Further to the announcement of preliminary discussions in relation to a
merger of A.G. Barr p.l.c. and Britvic plc dated 5 September 2012, in
accordance with Rule 8.3. of the Code, Caledonia announces an opening
position as at 6 September 2012 of 10,251,000 ordinary 4 1/6p shares in A.G.
Barr p.l.c., which represents 8.78% of AG Barr's issued shares with voting
rights.
