GENERAL: CEN: Notification of Master Trust Deed Amendments

Contact Energy Limited (Contact) has elected for the applicable requirements
of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (FMCA) to apply to it in respect of
its Bonds with effect from 3 September 2015 by amending the master trust deed
dated 23 February 2009, as amended and restated on 11 November 2011 and 21
August 2015 (Master Trust Deed), between Contact and The New Zealand Guardian
Trust Company Limited (the Supervisor).
Accordingly, Contact has amended the Master Trust Deed to comply with and
reflect the FMCA, and to make other "tidy-up" amendments.
As required by the FMCA, a notice in the form attached, providing further
details, is being sent to bondholders today.
