Sale by Origin Energy Limited
Contact Energy Limited (Contact) advises that it has been informed by Origin
Energy Limited (Origin) that Origin has successfully completed the bookbuild
process for the sale of Origin Group's shareholding in Contact at a price of
$4.65 per share. The transaction was fully underwritten with the shares sold
to a broad range of New Zealand, Australian and international equity market
institutional investors, and New Zealand retail investors.
Contact has requested NZX to remove the trading halt in respect of its
ordinary shares (ticker code "CEN").
