    most companies offer senior management incentives above normal pay. Just look at Qantas - CEO gets some $20M/yr normal pay plus incentives.
    You would think $20M would cover all possible activities to run company well and deliver satisfactory SH returns. But apparently not.

    If senior management are getting paid bugger all then top up incentives are OK if correctly designed.
