GENERAL: CVT: Comvita Register's New Prospectus
Comvita Register's New Prospectus for its Partly Paid Share Scheme
On 16 March 2012 Comvita Limited registered a new Prospectus in respect of
its existing Partly Paid Share Scheme.
There has been no change to the terms of the Partly Paid Share Scheme or the
securities issued pursuant to the Scheme. A new Prospectus was required in
order to comply with the Securities Act (Employee Share Purchase Schemes -
Listed Companies) Exemption Notice 2011 which replaced the 2006 Exemption
Notice Comvita previously relied on. The directors of Comvita have also
approved an updated Investment Statement.
The Comvita Limited Partly Paid Share Scheme was established in 2006 and was
approved at the Annual Shareholders Meeting of Comvita Limited on 28 April
2006. It was designed to create an alignment of interest between the
Company's senior executives and its shareholders, through incentivising them
to grow the value of the Company. It was also designed to assist the company
to attract, motivate and retain key employees.
