GENERAL: DGL: 2015 Harvest Announcement
DELEGAT GROUP LIMITED - MARKET UPDATE
Delegat's Group Limited announces that it has concluded the 2015 harvest
which amounted to 26,748 tonnes. The New Zealand harvest was 25,081 tonnes,
which is 26% lower than last year due to higher than average yields in 2014
and lower than average yields this year arising from a period of cool weather
over flowering together with unseasonal late spring frosts in Marlborough.
The Australia harvest for Barossa Valley Estate was 1,667 tonnes, which is up
66% on last year.
Graeme Lord, Managing Director of Delegat Group says: "the 2015 vintage has
delivered excellent quality in all regions. Whilst yields were lower than
normal, the Group is well positioned with inventories to achieve future sales
growth in line with the guidance provided in the 2014 Annual Report".
