ANNOUNCEMENT
DILIGENT BOARD MEMBER SERVICES, INC
("COMPANY")
The Company has become aware of an analyst's report issued on 19 December
2012 by First New Zealand Capital which states that "Recently Diligent has
indicated that it is developing a related product to Boardbooks, which is
aimed at executive teams rather than Boards (the "New Product")".
It is not the Company's normal practice to comment upon analyst's reports.
In this instance, however, it wishes to clarify that it has not made a
statement to the effect that it is developing a particular new product aimed
at executive teams. The Company has indicated only that, in the future, its
products may be used by clients who need to disseminate other confidential
information in a secure, timely and user friendly manner.
The report also makes a number of speculative statements about which, in line
with its normal practice, the Company makes no comment.
