GENERAL: FBI: FB Industries Limited appointment of Trustee

Auckland, 7 March 2013 - Fletcher Building Industries Limited announced today
that it had appointed Corporate Trust Limited (trading as Foundation
Corporate Trust) as the trustee of the company's capital notes on a
continuing basis from 1 March 2013.

Full details of the arrangement are contained in the attached letter which
will be sent to all capital noteholders shortly.
