FINZSOFT SOLUTIONS SECURES NEW ST GEORGE ORDER FOR ITS FINANCE SOFTWARE
AUCKLAND 23 January 2014 - Finzsoft Solutions (NZX:FIN) has received the
first material work order from St George Bank in Australia to assist with the
integration of the Auto and Equipment Finance business of Capital Finance
Australia Limited (CFAL) recently acquired from the Lloyds Banking Group
Australia.
The Auckland-based banking and finance software company is an established and
proven long term provider of its finance software to the vehicle and
equipment finance businesses of St. George - a division of Westpac Banking
Corporation. The completion of Westpac's $1.45 billion deal to acquire CFAL
business and portfolios from Lloyds will now see Finzsoft's finance software
used across the portfolio.
Finzsoft Managing Director, Andrew Holliday, said the company had received
the first work order to begin the project. "Finzsoft's current contracts,
including this roll out, could see Finzsoft's current revenue increase by up
to 50 percent in each of the next two to three financial years."
Andrew Holliday says that Finzsoft's proven proprietary solution is secure,
simple, paperless and automated. It enables the Bank to offer seamless
straight-through-processing of asset-backed loans, like car loans, at the
point of sale, including an integrated mobile offering that allows documents
to be captured and/or signed on a mobile device."
