GeoOp Awarded R&D Growth Grant
GeoOp Limited (GeoOp), the New Zealand based software company that offers
complete job management to businesses all over the world, is delighted to
announce that it has been awarded a Research and Development (R&D) Growth
Grant from Callaghan Innovation.
R&D Growth Grants supports firms with a proven track record in R&D and that
spend a significant proportion of their revenue on R&D. A total of up to
$1.1 million will be allocated to GeoOp over the next three years to support
its R&D initiatives.
"R&D has been key to GeoOp since its inception in 2009, ensuring the
development of new features and enhancements. This constant innovation and
our obsession with simplicity allows us to accelerate the acquisition of
customers." GeoOp CTO Jamie West continues, "A commitment to R&D has allowed
GeoOp to successfully build features for the global market and across all
platforms; Apple, Android and Windows. Adding to the company's R&D capacity
will allow us to innovate faster and service more customers globally."
GeoOp CEO Leanne Graham states, "In support of the Government's Business
Growth Agenda for NZ Companies, GeoOp are very pleased to receive this
support from Callaghan. The provision of a Growth Grant shows real strength
in GeoOp's plans for the future."
GeoOp currently has a product development team of 23 people based in its
Auckland office and is looking to add more people to it's talented R&D team.
