ikeGPS secures significant new US contract
Sale to Investor-Owned Utility further validates industry need for the GE
MapSight solution
ikeGPS Group Limited (NZX:IKE), the New Zealand-based remote measurement
solutions firm, has closed an initial $0.5 million contract with an
undisclosed Investor-Owned Utility in the US market.  The sale, providing
software and mobile hardware to measure and model distribution power
infrastructure, was concluded this month.

"This is a very large US customer who is addressing a common challenge in the
US market - how to efficiently manage critical electric utility distribution
infrastructure while at the same time complying with stringent new regulatory
legislation in the California market", said ikeGPS' chief executive Glenn
Milnes.

The Company has many hundreds of utility and engineering customers however
this specific customer purchase supports ikeGPS' push to sell its GE MapSight
solutions to the very largest Investor-Owned Utilities in the US. "This is a
very credible customer, considered to be thought leader in an industry with
demanding product and supplier requirements", Milnes said.  "This deal is
larger than typical initial purchase engagements and there is still
considerable upside in terms of what overall account opportunities could look
like for clients such as these over the coming 12-24 months."

Milnes added, "The Company is working numerous other contract opportunities
in this larger deal size and expects to update the market again before the
end of March 2015.  Since our IPO in July 2014, we have been effective in
establishing the quality and value of our GE MapSight offering in the US
market - and this latest big sale is a really significant next step in
addressing a market that increasingly faces operational and regulatory
demands."
