- New Zealand Manufacturer Leverages WTO Agreement on Government Procurement
to Extend Reach in U.S. Government Market -
WELLINGTON, New Zealand and RESTON, Va. -- September 10, 2015 - With New
Zealand's recent accession to the World Trade Organization's Government
Procurement Agreement (GPA), ikeGPS (NZX: IKE), the maker of the first
laser-accurate smartphone measurement solution, has teamed with Carahsoft
Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, to become one
of the first New Zealand-based companies to have its products added to the
U.S. government's GSA Schedule post agreement. This will accelerate
deployment of ikeGPS's innovative solutions throughout the U.S. government.

to the U.S. government, an important and growing customer base for us, via

The WTO GPA opens up trade opportunities for ikeGPS in the U.S., Canada,
Japan, and other WTO member countries.

ikeGPS's flagship product, Spike--the first laser-accurate smartphone
measurement solution--is already gaining traction in the U.S. government.
Spike can be used by numerous government agencies for disaster response,
critical infrastructure mapping, facilities management, energy modeling,
mission and access planning, crime scene investigation, counter terrorism,
and many other uses cases.
In addition, IkeGPS has entered into a technology development agreement and
strategic partnership with In-Q-Tel to further enable the design and
development of Spike, utilizing the company's intellectual property. In-Q-Tel
is the non-profit, strategic investment firm that identifies innovative
technology solutions to support the missions of the U.S. Intelligence
Community.
The Spike device, Spike mobile app, and a smartphone work together to allow
users to measure an object simply with a snap from a smartphone or tablet.
From that photo users can capture real-time measurements including height,
width, area, length, and target location. Measurements and location are saved
with the picture, and can be easily shared in a variety of industry formats.
