IKE 14/12/2015 08:30 GENERAL NOT PRICE SENSITIVE REL: 0830 HRS ikeGPS Group Limited (NS) GENERAL: IKE: ikeGPS wins largest account with MapSight solution ikeGPS wins largest account with MapSight solution Sales to global communications group for aerial fiber infrastructure deployment ikeGPS Group Limited (NZX:IKE), the New Zealand measurement firm, has closed contracts over $1 million with an undisclosed communications and infrastructure group. The sale, providing MapSight software, mobile hardware and training for the collection and analysis of distribution assets, was concluded this month in support of fiber infrastructure deployment. "This is a very large and global organisation at the forefront of aerial fiber infrastructure deployments across the U.S. market and parts of Europe. The MapSight solution helps them to carry out their fiber deployment processes more quickly and efficiently, and increases data quality to ensure compliance with stringent engineering standards and regulatory legislation. Ultimately, this means getting new services to customers much faster", said ikeGPS chief executive Glenn Milnes. "This deal initially supports a project in a single U.S. state. Our goal is for MapSight to become the 'standard' in these processes and we believe that this is another significant step in that direction. Positively, this deal also includes a long term pathway for further new MapSight software and hardware, specific to power and communications infrastructure, to be introduced across this customers' work practices. With line of sight to other additional fiber initiatives across the U.S. market, and that their field teams number thousands of staff, we anticipate growing this customer into a significantly larger account." Milnes added, "While we have continued to close many smaller utility and engineering customers, as signaled earlier in the year our sales teams are now focusing on materially larger deal opportunities and longer term accounts with high growth potential. Our MapSight offering has evolved considerably over the past 12 months in support of this and now includes best-practice training, consulting and support in addition to our industry-leading software and hardware technology stack. While the nature of winning these largest infrastructure, engineering and communications groups is lumpy, we are very pleased with how we are positioning in front of this large and growing global market opportunity.
